Mr. Ricardo Vilarinho - CEO - Go to top of page

Mr. Ricardo Vilarinho is Housetech Construction’s Chief Executive Officer, directly overseeing and supervising all company operations, developments and projects and plays a key role in the strategic direction of the company.

Recognized as one of the leading engineers in Brazil, Mr.Vilarinho has over 30 years’ experience in the construction business and property development across a broad spectrum of areas, including Construction, Project Management, Development Management, Funds Management and Asset Management.

Mr. Vilarinho’s long and varied career includes projects of state and international importance, within South America and in Africa, where he supervised and directed projects worth billions,including power plants ,oil pipelines ,gas pipelines, the implementation of  Monitoring and the billion-dollar radar system SIVAM tracking the entire brazilian amazon rain forest.

In addition, he has also held telecommunications professorship tenures at University Level.

Mr. Vilarinho’s career highlights include years of project engineering, management and superintendence of power plant construction for Brazil’s energy giant, FURNAS CENTRAIS ELÉTRICAS; project management and manager of telecommunications, supervision and control in Angola, for ODEBRECHT SERVIÇOS EXTERIOR LTDA and ODEBRECHT MINING SERVICES INC.

Between 1993 and 1999, Mr. Vilarinho served as project director for Construtora Norberto Odebrecht, one of the world’s largest construction companies, where he supervised , managed and directed projects in: Colombia, Costa Rica ,Ecuador , Angola and Brasil.  Prior to joining Housetech, Mr. Vilarinho’s last appointment was that of Regional Director for the Fundação Aplicações de Tecnologias Críticas.

Sylvio Jose Souza De Paula is responsible for Housetech’s structural projects and directly heads all hydraulic and electrical installations projects from inception to execution. In addition, in his true hands-on style, Sylvio also coordinates all on-site engineering works whilst construction projects are underway.

Sylvio’s specialization lies in Armed Concrete and Steel Structures, with expertise matured both in countless building and engineering projects over the years, as well as in academic circles, with professorship tenures at the Engineering department of the Santa Ursula University.

With over 2,000,000 square metres in structural residential projects worth around £30,000,000, Sylvio’s extensive engineering experience extends to also include commercial and governmental projects.  Amongst his most notable projects, one can find:

Dr. Darcy Alfredo Miteczuk is Housetech’s technical consultant and advisor, providing technical and architectural consultancy, as well as having directly handled a number of architectural projects for the company.

A highly accomplished professional, Darcy has over the past decades developed 3,000,000 square metres of architectural projects, with over 1,000 projects under his belt.  In addition to architecture and design, he has also specialized in Armored Contrete calculations, has also held tenures as a Mathematics professor at university level and is a prize-winning  artist, with water colurs featuring as a favourite medium.

Sidney Eduardo Alves Affonso, leads a team of four architects, with a solid background in high-level commercial and enterprise build experience,  bringing to Housetech a combined worth of decades of expertise in project planning, design and execution with an unrivalled first-hand experience in the Brazilian construction industry.

To date Sidney has over 2,000,000 square metres of project builds in Brazil alone under his belt,  and in addition to a veriety of commercial and residential projects executed in Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Federal district, Goiás, Tocantins and Ceará, his most notable projects include the New York City Centre Barra Shopping project, construction of several mansions and buildings in Barra de Tijuca and projects commissioned directly by the Bank of Brazil and Globo TV, Latin America’s largest television network. 

His team includes Luciana Mônica de Souza Martins, with a specialization in Interior Design, handling all furnishing projects and ambience detailing;   Cynthia Jacques Lima de Azevedo Miranda, specializing in lighting techniques, with a wide array of projects  involving the development of lighting design in her portfolio; Andrei Santuchi Zarour Pinheiro, with extensive experience in residential construction; having had direct first hand responsibility in a number of residence projects in the city of Macaé.

Their combined expertise offers Housetech far more than architectural planning, design and execution, but they bring in a truly unparalleled wealth of experience and first hand knowledge of the local industry, as may be witnessed in their work on the Privilege Residential and Montecarlo projects, as well as Housetech’s headquarter buildings.
